Deanna is a 6th Year graduate student in Special Education at the University of
Connecticut. Previously, she graduated from Bay Path University with her Master’s
degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
(BCBA), and has worked within a range of settings and individuals. She worked with
children with autism spectrum disorders and their families, providing in-home
services as well as working as a school-based BCBA working with students and staff.
She is currently seeking to expand her skill set to work with students with intensive
behavioral needs, as well as expanding her education to specializing in School Wide
Positive Behavior Support. Deanna is hoping that her expanding education and
experiences will allow her opportunities to reach students and staff to help make a
difference in school wide behavior management systems and approaches.
