Isha Sinojia

Research Assistant 1

Isha Sinojia recently completed her Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from UConn Health. Her public health areas of interest are disabilities and oral health care. As an MPH student, she did a fellowship program with The Connecticut Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (CT LEND) where she was able to learn about the health care delivery system for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities through research studies, advocacy projects, and community practicum. She has been volunteering and working at UConn Health for about seven years. In her time at UConn Health, she has worked on multiple projects with many departments, met amazing people, and learned so much from everyone around her. At the University of Connecticut’s A.J. Pappanikou Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD), she supports the center’s goals and objectives through innovative disability related research, training, and technical assistance. Outside of school, Isha loves to go to the beach, hiking, playing tennis, trying new restaurants/cafes, and meeting new people.
