Sarju Shah is a public health professional with over fifteen years’ experience in project management and multi-stakeholder initiatives. She identifies and supports strategies such as public policy, leadership development and capacity building that advances the Center’s goals and objectives.
Before joining UCEDD, Sarju worked at UConn Analytics and Information Management Solutions (UConn AIMS), a data management and analytics team within the School of Nursing, where she helped formalize and build its product and service offerings for statewide and regional health improvement initiatives. Prior to joining UConn AIMS, Sarju was the health information technology program manager for the Connecticut Office of Health Strategy where she provided project planning expertise and management support to achieve advancements in the adoption of Health IT and health information exchange. Before that, Sarju was an epidemiologist for the Connecticut Department of Public Health. Sarju received her B.A. and MPH from Boston University.
When not working, Sarju enjoys family time with her husband and three children and tries to expand their minds with great 80s movies.
