Victoria is in her second year of the Clinical Doctorate of Audiology program at UConn. She
received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, with a minor in
Human Development and Family Studies in 2020 from UConn. As an undergraduate, Victoria
worked as a research assistant in UConn’s SLaP lab where she completed her Honors thesis
regarding sleep-based memory consolidation and its role in perceptual training of noise-vocoded
speech. Victoria looks forward to expanding her interests in serving underrepresented groups as a
future audiologist. She hopes to learn more about better serving pediatric patients with
neurodevelopmental differences by participating in the LEND grant program.
