Amanda Garvey

Instructional Designer

Amanda Garvey joined the UConn Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities in January 2025. Amanda earned her BA in Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst followed by her MA in Instructional Technology. Throughout her 23-year career in education, Amanda was able to find the power of utilizing technology to support learners of all ages and abilities.

As Instructional Design Specialist, Amanda is motivated to take her previous experience with educational technology and pair it with the mission of the UCEDD.

In her free time, Amanda loves spending time with her daughters and her dog, Noodle.
