UConn President Radenka Maric, PhD recgonizes the UCEDD in her inaugural address

On September 29th, President Radenka Maric, PhD was inaugurated as the 17th president of University of Connecticut. During her inauguration speech, President Maric acknowledged the achievements of several professors at UConn, including UConn UCEDD’s very own director, Mary Beth Bruder, PhD: “UConn is great because our people use their talents to benefit others. I could mention so many examples … Dr. Mary Beth Bruder whose $10 million award from the U.S. Department of Education will provide technical assistance to increase equity in the delivery of early childhood intervention services to infants and young children. This program seeks to protect the most vulnerable by supporting children from diverse background who have disabilities or developmental delays.” Click here to watch President Maric’s full speech
