Good news for Connecticut families! Governor Ned Lamont announced that more than 350,000 children across Connecticut are receiving $120 per child in Summer EBT (S-EBT) benefits to help families purchase food while school is out for the summer. In total, more than $42 million will support Connecticut families this summer.

Families already enrolled in SNAP, TFA, or eligible HUSKY A programs, as well as students who qualified for free or reduced-price school meals during the 2025-2026 school year, will automatically receive these benefits. Families who are not automatically enrolled may apply through August 31, 2026.
