Jianghong Li
Dr. Jianghong Li is a social and behavioral scientist with more than two decades of experience conducting applied research with underserved and marginalized communities experiencing health disparities. Trained in preventive medicine and community epidemiology, her work emphasizes interdisciplinary perspective, community-engaged approaches that value shared learning, empowerment and building resilience. At UCEDD, Dr. Li focuses using research and evaluation to improve systems, services, and outcomes for people with developmental disabilities. She is excited to be part of UCEDD team serving a population that is deeply meaningful to her both professionally and personally, as a family member of people with developmental disabilities. Dr. Li is ready to apply her extensive experience in research, evaluation, and program development, drawing on strengths in problem conceptualization, theory development and application, intervention design to support new initiatives and strengthen existing efforts. Dr. Li is committed to translating data and evidence into practical insights that inform services, education, planning, and policy, grounded in partnership and respect for lived experience.
