Early Childhood Intervention
Connecticut Pyramid Model: A Community of Practice Model for Young Children's Social Emotional Development
OVERVIEW
This education initiative of the Center for Excellence is funded by the Sate Department of Education. The goal is to help early childhood special education professionals to create learning environments where children are engaged, they feel good about coming to school, and where educators are able to teach children. Particular emphasis is placed on setting expectations, and teaching skills that students can learn in place of challenging behaviors. The entire program consists of three modules offered on separate days.
