Anne Sukprasert-Precourt
Executive Assistant
Anne joined the UConn Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities as Executive Assistant in December 2024. A Connecticut transplant, Anne worked in healthcare for 20 years in Southern California – mostly in academic, hospital, clinical, nonprofit, and private practice settings affiliated with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The broad range of Anne’s experience includes helping deliver babies at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center; working as an academic and administrative professional at UCLA School of Public Health and at UCLA School of Medicine; managing contracts and grants for a nonprofit health care organization that provided medical care, education, and outreach to some of Los Angeles’ most economically disadvantaged areas; and establishing and managing a surgery private practice for an academic surgeon.
Anne is first-generation Thai-American, who was born and raised in Oklahoma, before moving to Los Angeles for secondary school and attending UCLA for her undergraduate and master’s degrees. Anne earned a master’s degree in public health (MPH) in health services from the UCLA School of Public Health. Living in Wellington, New Zealand for a year gave Anne the opportunity to experience life abroad. Anne now finds home in Simsbury, Connecticut with her husband, two sons, and the family dog. During the past 15 years, Anne has also been caring for her mother, who lives with the family and has lived with cancer and then Alzheimer’s disease. Her experience as a mother and daughter navigating the healthcare system has often made Anne a patient advocate, and she feels privileged to be able to work with the UConn Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities to advocate for children and families.
