Holly Labrecque, MPH
Research Assistant
Holly is starting her first year as a Public Health PhD student at UConn. She graduated with her Masters in Public Health in May 2020 and is a former LEND trainee. In her undergraduate studies, she worked as a research assistant in Dr.Eigsti’s developmental cognitive neuroscience lab where she conducted her honors thesis on the long term outcomes of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Holly was the President of the UConn Psi Chi chapter, the international honor society in psychology, and was a committee chair at the UConn Women’s Center where she facilitated meetings centered on gender equity. Holly recently completed her Masters thesis titled “The Exposure to Disability-related Content and Attitudes toward Persons with Disabilities within the UConn MPH Program”, as well as assisted with Learn the Signs, Act Early trainings at the UCEDD.
Her goal is to work in academia after obtaining her degree and continue researching early detection and intervention for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
