Skyley Parizek

LEND Trainee


Skyley is a first-year graduate student in the Master of Public Health program at UConn Health. In
2018, she graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Psychological Sciences.
For the past three years, Skyley has worked in the field of special education and behavioral health
as a teaching assistant and preschool teacher. Most recently, she was a mental health counselor
at a clinical day school where she gained experience working with children and adolescents with
disabilities in a variety of settings. Currently, she is interested in the intersection of public health
policy and early intervention services in special education. Her overall academic and professional
goal is to increase the accessibility of health care services and early childhood interventions
through education and advocacy.
