Tu Anh Nguyen

Tu Anh joined the UConn Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities as a Research Assistant in November of 2023. She graduated from the UConn with both a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Psychological Sciences. She is also a LEND long-term trainee graduate.

While completing her master’s degree, Tu Anh honed her quantitative and qualitative research skills through her coursework and through various research opportunities. She interned at UConn’s Health Disparities Institute as she investigated medical debt in the U.S. by geographic location and racial-ethnic identity, with an emphasis on Connecticut. She was also a Student Researcher for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center surveying perceptions of indoor air quality within schools.

Tu Anh is excited to bring her research skills to the UCEDD and to continue to advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion through her work.
