COVID-19 Parent Surveys

Two different surveys were conducted that focused on the needs of families with children with disabilities as a result of COVID-19, as well as concerns parents had about the impact of COVID-19 on their child’s development.

Parents  of Children with Disabilities in the Early months of COVID-19: Knowledge, Beliefs and Needs
Families have many needs as a result of COVID-19. We conducted a national survey which was completed by 457 families to find out about the needs of families with children with disabilities. The families reported a decrease in the amount of services and supports they were receiving due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They reported being most concerned about their child’s education and health, along with reports of high anxiety.

Learn the Signs Act Early Response to COVID-19 Parent Survey
Young children have had direct impact from COVID-19. We surveyed 304 families to find out what concerns families have about their child’s development and the impact of COVID-19 has had on their development.
